Smartphone Quad DAC and Streaming Music to AV Receiver

Hi All,

I recently bought myself an LG G6 smartphone because of all the great reviews I read about its sound quality; however, I just learned that the North American version does not include the famous Hi-Fi Quad DAC and it's only exclusive to Korea and some Asian countries.

I'm disappointed at the news, but my main usage of the phone (music-wise) is wireless streaming the audio files to my AV receiver (Pioneer VSX-1326).

Now my question is: Can the phone's internal Quad DAC improve the sound quality in wireless streaming, OR it boosts the sound quality only when I'm playing the music on the phone and I connect my headphones directly to it?

I'm a newbie here and didn't find an answer anywhere else. I hope you can help.
