I have a few more pix of some demos but for the life of me, I can't remember what they sounded like. I guess I'll end my coverage there.

Anyway, lots of tight competition in the high end these days and a lot of great sounding systems in many different configurations.

Photography courtesy of my sweat covered Ipod that I use for listening to music at the gym, and it was incredibly handy in making things easy with one handed use to take pix and dump it back in my pocket, so no apologies for lousy photography.

As far as cost factor, I looked at a few, but really go to these shows with a "French Menu" attitude to just listen. YMMV as far as what you would think is reasonable cost for your goals and the sound involved.

The audio shows are complex venues. The vendors seem to want to keep the gray haired wallets in peaceful grazing mode, so music tempos have a speed limit and not too much challenging music outside of the "girl with guitar" or "elevator jazz" type stuff. I guess I can't blame them because the work of moving all this stuff from place to place is huge.
