Hi,

I have got a Cambridge Audio CXA80 amplifier, an Audiolab M-DAC+ and a pair of KEF LS50 speakers.

I'm looking for a high quality graphic equalizer similar to the Behringer Mini FBQ 800. It's price tag (80$) says a lot about its expected sound quality though...

I'm not looking for a dual band EQ with as many as 20 bands to adjust for each channel, but a simple one yet with a high sonic quality.

What would you recommend me?

Are you interested in primarily addressing the bass? You may also want to re-consider a graphic EQ and make use of a device that has parametric EQ. Take a look at miniDSP. Great value, great products, and they work very well. For example the miniDSP Open DRC (they have different versions -- I use the "AN" version to handle my multiple subs) uses PEQ, has shelf filters, low and high pass filters and cost about $325. Then for an additional $10, you download the software that runs on a Mac or PC to set the various filters. You will need something like REW or OmniMic to make use of it, however. This is a far, far better approach (IMO) than the Behringer that you are considering. Less noise, less distortion, much better end result. A bit more work on the front end but given your high quality speakers, I would personally settle for nothing else.
