I am getting as slightly used Pass Labs X250.5 power amplifier to be mated with an audio Research Reference 3 preamplifier. Forgive the ignorance but what is Blue meter on the front of Pass Labs X250.5 amplifier for? The meter seems to be always at 10 O' Clock. What does this mean? Is it if the meter line goes over it, does it mean that my amplifier is leaving the Class A mode and going to Class AB? Or if the meter line goes over 12 O' clock( Center) and that is when my amp is leaving Class A mode and going to Class AB mode?
Thanks in advance.
