Hi,

I want to create an outdoor cabinet for some audio equipment that can stay outside the entire year (rain, snow, etc).

My current setup has 'speakerstones' on the patio wired to a waterproof electrical box containing speaker connections, wires running under the patio in conduit.
Electronics today are installed in a Pelican box (see this youtube video) and upgraded with the Logitech touch modified to use its digital output into a GeekOut V2 DAC.

I'd like to move on to something more elegant, maybe a box the size of a picnic cooler (2'x4'x2') in teak or redwood with power and speaker connections permanently
wired into said box and a couple of shelves so I can update the equipment easily. It probably should have a lid or front that can be opened for air circulation when in use.

Any suggestions?
