The cover is a picture of Rocker Jack White announcing the opening of his vinyl factory. Third Man Records is the name. Why vinyl?
Vinyl is better. There is something missing in digital.

The biggest compliment we need to new vinyl production is a revival of studio quality with analog gear circa late 50's to late 60's style, and for the mastering. I'll take tape ghosting and flutter in my music any day over it sounding boring and over dampened/compressed.

He has been doing direct to disc recordings for years.

Love Jack White, but a lot of the vinyl TMR puts out is dreck...
