Hi all.
I have a pair of Goldring NS-1000 phones. I am shopping for something that is noise cancelling, like these are, but more accurate. These have an annoying upper-bass bloom that is distracting. My go-to phones are the A.K.G. 401’s which seem to do nothing wrong, and get rave reviews.
The Goldrings got great reviews back in the day, but there must be something better by now.
What Ideas do you have between $100-$200 that will be flatter so to speak, then my NS-1000’s?

Does it have to be noise cancelling? My solution to noise is in-ear-monitors. They block a ton of noise and of course, weigh nothing and don't cause your ears to sweat. My latest acquisition is Etymotic ER4 SR.
