Hello

Need some suggestion for computer home theater speaker, primary use is for music and movies. Second is gaming.

My some shortlist speakers are
Yamaha YHT-196
Logitech Z906
Sony HT-IV300
I am also thinking of keeping it simple but I think I would love something above than Bose companion 5 (not a true Surround sound)?

Budget for speaker is less than $500.

Currently I am having Asus Z97A motherboard. I think I need to add a better sound card? If yes, then can someone please suggest one?

Thank You

I'd suggest adding the JBL LSR305 powered monitors to your list. You will need a sub, but start with how ever many you can justify to start and add on as budget allows. At $99 each they are quite a steal.
