Birkin Bag Sells for Record $380K at Hong Kong Auction

@ least it is way way much cheaper than that last Basquiat painting that sold for a record breaking $110.5 million.
Would you rather go shopping in Paris with that Birkin bag or hang that Basquiat painting in your library room, just above the fireplace by your reading chair?
...Or on the front soundstage of your listening room?

I can't imagine why anyone would spend that kind of money on a handbag when you could spend the same amount and buy a speaker system....or a small house. :D

Yes, for $380,000 you can buy a very nice Hi-Fi stereo system, with turntable and Tidal.

And in some places around the country side of Canadian landscape, a beautiful home. ...In the Appalachian mountains.
