The song list, grabbed by a fan @ the end of the show (on stage):

And what was played in @ the live show: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/soundg...-43e7fb7f.html
    _____

His last performance reads like a suicide note. The lyrics refer to Jesus, to death, to his deathbed, to going home peacefully.
I had no idea that he was that depressed, and I have no clue if he has a recent drug of choice.
    Eventually more news will surface...

    - Also today Roger Aisles (former founder/chairman and CEO of FOX) died. ...A controversial figure (age 77) forced out because of sexual scandal. I know nothing, just the headlines.

    - And Powers Boothe passed away just few days ago, on the 14th, @ age 68 - R.I.P. Powers

I'm sure all the members here lost friends or/and family members to suicide, including I.
In my college years I acquired some experience working with all type of patients (young, old, depressive, ...), doctors, nurses, and co-workers.
I don't tell those stories because they are simply too out-of-the-normal routine we all have.

We have some common experience I see. It's good to have aptitudes in many domains. The domain I find hard to master is audio/video forums.
Everyone's an expert. ...Up to the boiling point. We're a funny bunch...the human species.

RIP Chris, your voice was/is to die for, and that Casino Royale opening tune is my favorite of all James Bond opening songs. Adele (Skyfall) would be second.

I like this tune ↓ from the Michael Mann's film Collateral ... Chris Cornell's voice (Audioslave).

But it's hard to watch his last live music concert in Detroit; it's painful. There's no energy, no sparkles between the musicians, and the musicianship is inferior all around, in dischord.

It is truly bad; he is not in his element. The music is awful, untalented, and he's mainly yelling @ the mic with echo reverb effects coming back from the walls. Sometime he and his buddy play with their back facing the audience, not even looking @ each other, and when they do it's empty in their eyes.
It must have been hard to be part of the audience ... if I was there I would have left after less than two minutes.
    _____

I have Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, etc. in my CD's Rock section. I don't listen to that stuff anymore.
Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne...Yes occasionally...in multichannel (SACD, DVD Audio, Blu-ray, and even CD).
I have few LPs but they don't play anymore with three old turntables packed in the dust.

Today was a strange day (The Doors - People are Strange); I came back in time to realize where I'm @ today, with the better sound vibes.
I saw Kurt Cobain's documentary Montage of Heck on Blu a while back. Now Chris Cornell @ age 52 just passed away less than 24 hours ago.
Looking @ his last video...it was hard. His wife and three kids are now without Chris, I wish Chris solace in the afterlife.
I didn't feel any connection on stage with him and between his musicians. It was not the music that brought them together, it was a search in themselves, disjointed, disconnected.
@ the end of the day I feel more understanding of Chris' life's struggles. He has created some great tunes with his strong tonal voice along with some musicians closer to him artistically. That was then, now time to learn more ....

Maybe he was aware of how bad this last concert sounded and how terrible the playing was. This is only my thought, only my frank opinion.
I judge no one but my ears and my eyes and behind them...my soul.

R.I.P. my friend. You are not alone anymore.

    * Ativan: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorazepam

Adverse effects: Suicidality: Benzodiazepines may sometimes unmask suicidal ideation in depressed patients, possibly through disinhibition or fear reduction. The concern is that benzodiazepines may inadvertently become facilitators of suicidal behavior. Therefore, lorazepam should not be prescribed in high doses or as the sole treatment in depression, but only with an appropriate antidepressant.

It's a warm morning on the Island, there are many beautiful colors on trees, plants, bushes, flowers, etc. ...It's serene, relaxed, peaceful.
It all reflects my awareness of my surroundings in my thoughts. When I first started the cyber world, Windows 10 greeted me with this picture:

That was what I first researched, for roughly half hour:

Alishan National Scenic Area in Chiayi County, Taiwan
Alishan National Scenic Area in Chiayi County, Taiwan, is known for its ‘Sea of Clouds,’ a view that's particularly stunning during sunrise. Up until the 1970s, the area was logged for its hinoki cypress trees. More recently, it's become home to high-elevation tea and wasabi plantations.

I looked @ more pictures from that area in Taiwan, and read on the climate, terrain (mountains, water...) and vegetation (trees, plants...).
    https://www.bing.com/mapspreview?osi...=2&form=wsbs02

Our planet is full of gorgeous places, and all around this area...Taiwan, China, Philippines, ... it's super scenic in the countryside.
A friend of mine went to Vietnam last year; I searched the countryside near the ocean...simply magnificent.
We sure live on a beautiful blue planet. There are beautiful people living on it; over there...over here...everywhere.
This is how I started my day this morning.
    _____

I then proceeded to check some news around the world; politics, economics, socials, arts, sciences.
Chris Cornell's news was among them...cultural, music arts. It's in that very first link above, it was part of the mainstream news.
It is sad; a good looking young man, a great voice, a wife and three children, a depressive man on prescription medicine, and a tragic culmination.

R.I.P. Chris Cornell and my thoughts are travelling to beautiful places with all your family and friends/fans

I love the visuals ↑ the singer has a good range of vocal chords, and I like the flick overall; with some scenes to die for, and others to dig a hole for my grave...like the snow plane pursuit scene for example.
But it is James Bond, and everything is possible...like mission impossible. ...And the beautiful Monica Bellucci.
