I am helping my mom prepare her house for sale. She has acreage and heavily wooded property, and there are tons of fallen, dead trees and limbs. As a female who's a tall drink of water (not weak, mind you, but not super stout), what is the best tool I can get to clear out this mess/turn it into firewood? The trees are small, mostly under 8" in diameter and lots of limbs, 1"-4". Is a chainsaw the only way? If yes, what's the smallest, safest, most lightweight way to go? I've been looking at saws for days now and really need some "real user" advice. I don't want to get something bigger than I actually need! All advice would be mega-appreciated!
