Given Peter's eloquent departure from WBF, and Valin's gigantic ego, this surprises me not at all.

And, for what it's worth, the best turntable is no turntable but rather live music !!

I don't know Valin at all but used to consider the other guy as a friend. Given some of the BS he has pulled on me and others in the last year or so, I am surprised this hasn't happened before this. Maybe MF would like to chime in with more details. The genesis of this encounter is apparently quite interesting.

What about the Walker? He better be careful, or Mr. Walker will take that free sample away. Or not, as who else will market the walker tables?!? he just needs to add a new tweak to the walker, and "Sterile" Jon Valin will proclaim it best in the upcoming issue.

Sorry, I didn't pick up on it. But I am out of the loop. Catching up on my audio reading, Valin mentioned that some drunk got in his face in the mbl room and valin needed to be restrained by 3 people (his wife?, a younger chick he has been hanging out with recently ?, someone else?)... personally, valin looks old and shriveled, while "Great" Peter B. looks like a big man you would not want to see hot a senior citizen. I think valin got lucky he got restrained...
