Go with the two f12 subs.
The room response will be smoother.
What other brands would you suggest I consider?
Dual. I modify Rhythmic amplifiers (for people) and they're a great option; better than most subwoofers at any price level.
2/3/4 SVS sb16 ultras used as a swarm of subs and a miniDSP 2x4HD to integrate them all..or maybe go for the DDRC-24 with DIRAC
Just what do you do to them to modify them !
Go with the two F12 subs.
The room response will be smoother.
REL; JL Audio; Seaton Sound; I am sure there are more but I have heard each of those paired with very high end speakers (Wilson, Magico, Martin Logan, etc) and each was incredible.
That said, proper integration with your mains (room position, delay and trim settings, EQ, etc) will ultimately determine if you are pleased with the sound. Any of those mentioned with proper integration will work spectacularly.
Hi guys,
I am contemplating adding subwoofers. Should I go with a dual or single sub? Intention is to crossover at 36hz where my speakers tail off. Looking at single rythmik E15 or dual rythmik f12.
Go with the two f12 subs.
The room response will be smoother.
