Hello Everyone,

This is my first post ... I am in the middle of restoring a Wilcox-Gay Recordio 6B 10 that belonged to my great-grandfather, 1946-47 I believe. I’ve replaced all the capacitors, some resistors and I have had the turntable playback and cutting heads refurbished. I am having some trouble identifying this tube however (see pic).

The book and schematics say it is a 6J7GT but I can not find one online with this metal case? Any thoughts?

Thank you folks for your help!

Thank you RogerD!

This tube is glass, you can see the top of it with the top of the can removed. I have contacted some of the major suppliers and they don't seem to carry it. The 67J yes but not in this metal can.

Thanks again.
