• Ubergizmo | Samsung has announced that it has successfully closed the acquisition of Harman International for $8 billion | March 12, 2017

Samsung reminds me a bit of Sony. Two very very big companies with underground illegal activities of all sorts.
It's easy to find lots of bad news from their business activities, the way they operate sometimes in dealing with the competition and their customers/investors.
They end up often with out-of-court settlements, or if they go to court they pay fines and penalties and with financial market share losses.
So it's not surprising that joint ventures or acquisitions are made to counteract their overall profit losses.
We all know how Samsung ended up with exploding phones, with laptop's cameras turn on and spying, etc.
Other companies like Sony have their immense share of ripping off customers with their overcharging them with accessories that are only working with Sony products, like having the monopoly because other brand accessories don't work with Sony products, also on their faulty TVs (some models), etc.
Panasonic too had some model TVs that were losing their black levels after a certain period of time...all proven stuff.
I forget which TVs are recording their owners viewing habits in their data base like privacy invasion for future potential financial gains.
Brief we are like robots spending money and they treat us as is. We are not humans anymore; we live inside our machines, TVs, computers, internet, browsers, Microsoft, Apple, etc., and hacking is a way of life, with breaches of privacy, accounts, passwords, viruses distribution, kids with new jobs of stealing online, bullying, stalking, intimidating, full of fake news @ the highest levels of our communication systems and government agencies.
Yes, it's Samsung TVs too that can spy on you: • https://www.cnet.com/how-to/samsung-smart-tv-spying/

Spies are active more than ever and it's all automatic from our electronics. Competition is so fierce that real humans are treated like robots and discarded like obsolete and expired punching cards. You get ejected from your seat on an airplane and the people sitting next to you say "bon voyage, hope you won't feel too alone up there in the clouds with nobody's love".
Lol, of course I'm humorous a little, but just a little because that's very close to reality.
I could provide billions of links to support my claims. But like I everyone with a computer or a TV with news channels have access to all that stuff.
Me personally I prefer intelligent documentaries, like from http://documentaryheaven.com/
And the news the type that don't lie. Because there are no laws against lies and fake news ... https://www.quora.com/Is-it-legal-to-lie-on-the-NEWS
Everything is about power, control, monopoly, money management, misappropriation, hiding the corrupted deals, money laundering, etc.
The worst criminals are not necessarily all in jail, they are running free and ruling undetected.
Why am I saying this in the Samsung acquisition thread of Harman International? Because, vices lead to more vices, and they spread like diseases in all other business venues, and resulting in the problems we have today. I don't want to fly with people who own a Samsung phone with a faulty battery in it. I want to remain safe in my seat without pushing that red eject button. It sounds a little far-fetched doesn't it? But does it really?
Anyhow, that's the news.
