    Every release I have heard on Resonance (almost all of their albums, I think) has horribly compressed, peak-limited mastering

    Although far more compressed and peak-limited than it has any reason to be. Even if you aren't very good at noticing compression effects by listeneing, just look at your volume control setting for this album compared to some other live Bill Evans albums.

    I guess you were taking a shot at my ability of noticing compression? Haha.

    It sounds amazing on vinyl.
