Working in the consumer packaged goods business, I can make some commentary about this commercial:
1). This commercial took an minimum of 1 year to produce, InBev had no clue who would be president when this was created.
2). InBev won an award from Ad Age for the "worst Superbowl ad ever" when it aired the ad that made fun of craft beer drinkers. The worst type of ad makes fun of your consumers.
3). Millennials are not drinking InBev products because they don't live large corporations and have a need to "connect" with the companies that make their products. This is a desperate attempt to create legitimate and authentic connection with younger beer drinkers.
I enjoyed the ad but InBev has a long way to go getting their consumer back.
