High End speakers Evolution are designed for truthful stereo 2.0 listening. The Evolution speakers are characterized by full details, excellent localization and spaciousness of musical instruments. Evolution speakers contain only one speaker driver with very high sensitivity and unique horn transline without any compromising details in its construction.

Beautiful but incapable of reproducing pipe organs at any realistic volume levels so not really full or truthful reproduction especially at 12K dollars:eek:

Dear 16Hz, you are absolutely right. It is not speakers for stadium sound system.
Evolution speakers are designed for home listening in reasonable volume up to 110 - 120 dB. I think that reasonable volume is about 85-95 dB. Above this volume level human ear loses sensitivity in details. Absence of frequency crossovers guarantees outstanding spaciousness and localization of instruments. All constructions (not Bi-Amping) with more than one speaker driver uses crossovers. Crossovers make phase shift, so diaphragm go against another and their acoustic pressure is decreased. It happens in crossover dividing frequency. Many brands selects this frequecy in much hearable spectrum 1-2 kHz. So in this dividing frequency some instruments will be loose.
Evolution speakers does not have crossovers and its the goal.
