Streaming app via USB

Can anyone suggest a stable app for ipad that I can use to stream DSD files which will be converted on the fly to PCM by my Melco NAS drive? I have a Moon 380D DAC and a Moon 340i amp. The Moon app works really well but only communicates via ethernet which will not play my DSD files. I have tried SongBook HD, Lumin and 8player. 8player works really well but does not do gapless playback which spoils certain albums such as DSOTM, Abbey Road and Blood Sugar Sex Magik. I really hope someone can help me as I'm getting quite down about not being able to enjoy my music all because of communication issues between the app and the renderer...

Ethernet based DACS are limited to allow DoP (DSD over PCM) if the OS doesn't support it natively in the Server

Windows based units or other Linux based options give you a drop down for it in the setting of the renderer. Since you are using the NAS as the server I would just suggest getting an inexpensive server like a Raspberry Pi to give you the freedom to play DoP

The Raspi have a recurring design decision which seriously incapacitates it in terms of transfer bandwidth: the combined Ethernet/USB 'interface', so I don't recommend it for anything which needs a large transfer rate like DSD or even high-res PCM or DXD.
