Yes, that is the way to go, except you need them to upgrade the R2R firmware while they are at it too. I promise you will be VERY pleased.

Does the 512 mod improve 126 DSD as well - I can only go to that res at the moment with my Linux sever. Don't think my GG has a R2R on the PCM side.:confused:
Yes, I believe its a slight improvement for every DSD rate.

Hard to tell as I did FW update and Superclocks at the same time as the move up to 512. I think they tweaked a few other things as well.
