Hi All,

For those interested in reading, there is an extremely detailed review of the Hydra Denali Series of power distributors posted on The Audio Beat:

http://www.theaudiobeat.com/equipment/shunyata_research_denali.htm

There is quite a lot of context within the review, including comparisons, photo's and descriptions of the new technologies employed within each model.

Following are two of the more relevant quotes:

"Anyone who wants to supercharge an amplifier's performance should definitely give the (Denali) 2000/T a spin.”
Reviewer Vance Hiner: The Audio Beat

Gabriel's latest Denali products are unequivocally effective at making any combination of audio electronics sound more singular and real. Denali really is the peak of power conditioning here and now."
Editor In Chief Marc Mickelson: The Audio Beat.

Thanks to all on our forum here at WB, for your good questions and support. Happy Holidays.

Best regards,

Grant

Does a new Denali need break in time?

Other than settling after shipping (maybe 2 days), there is no longer any traditional break-in process. Denali models should perform as intended out of the box and simply get better from there. So far, most dealers and customers report that they did not notice any appreciable change from day 1. A few customers reported minor improvements during the first week of use, but that the units were more than acceptable upon first use.

The big difference is that peaks and valleys (any variability or lull in performance) between days 2-5-- common with components or cables of most any type, is gone. The Kinetic Phase Inversion process has outstripped the performance gains normally associated with conventional, or specialty break in processes. Even our cryogenics tanks have been relegated to use with ancillary metal parts because they no longer have any effect on KPIP treated parts. We feel its one key reason the Denali models have performed so well.

Best regards,

Grant

I would concur that within a few hours of install the majority of benefits make themselves known and after a day or two what you hear is what you get. I think I first said "Oh My" around the 8hr mark :)
