Ron,
I have the model right below the Invectus. The technology is outstanding with very deep black backgrounds.

I've never tried the AS tone arm. I've had about 8 different arms over the years and nothing is close to the pleasure I get from the SME 3012R. There are too many people who's ears I trust (Romy, Suresh, Scott Kushino, your's) who all say get a NOS 3012R and be done with it. They/you all are right, I'm done looking at arms.

Which other tonearms have you tried? And who are Suresh and Scott, link to their systems?

David knows them, they are fellow DDK travelers (Lamm and Micro Seiki). Tone arms I've tried:

-SME 4
-SME 5
-SME V12
-Ikeda
-Tri Planer
-A bunch of various Regas

Scott and Suresh are both in Seattle and have been to my room multiple times; the most recent was over 3 years ago when DDK and Suresh came over.

I have not seen Scott for at least 5 years.

Both of them have Lamm amps (SET), Micro Seiki 8000 turntables and large Tannoy and/or horn speakers. Great resources for me and excellent people.
