Friends,
I am on a look out for a high quality preamp with a serious in-built phono stage. I auditioned the EAR 912 but it sounded bit dry to my ears. I liked the Audio Note M6 phono preamp. It is an M6 line stage with in-built phono. Within the budget I can afford an M5 phono. Peter Qvortrup of Audio Note told me that the phono stages inside their line stages are actually equivalent to their seperate phono stages. So I am looking for some opinions on Audio Note preamps with phono stages. The other good options are Shindo Masseto (a bit dark for my taste), Symphonic Line Die Erleuteung (never heard the unit). I will be using them with a First Watt F6 amplifier.
