On many subwoofers, there are two input jacks L & R. My subwoofer cable, as well as many I've seen, have a "splitter" into double RCAs at the subwoofer end. Supposedly, this double arrangement increases the gain of the system by 6 dB.
My question: If using the XLR inputs on my subwoofer (JL F113), do you recommend (or use) a split XLR cable to the subwoofer? Or, do you simply plug into one of the inputs and let that be that....?
Anyone know of any advantages this may provide?
