..traded my Lumin A1 in today on an S1. The dealer put a few days on it for me and gotta say from the first note the improvement from my A1, which make no mistake is outstanding, was not subtle. I am an even happier camper!

Note the same league indeed.
Huge improvement on PCM files, a bit less impressive with DSD stuff which was already very good with the A1.
Enjoy.

Even after a couple of years, I still love mine. I haven't even thought of upgrading anything since I added the S1.

..the DACs in both the A1 and S1 are about as good as it gets..
