You can google your nearest local TV dealer for best prices; which would be another important category (financial Value), for some people.

Another thing to consider: Reliability, Service support, Warranty, Availability and Longevity (what's on the near horizon in 2017 and 2018).
And last but not least: Professional Uniformity (tested and measured by professional TV calibrators).
And: SIZE. Size matters, the bigger the more immersing (4K & 3D).

So, what do you think, Sony's best overall (in the 65" class size like here)?

This video is just a quick overall view, without measurements, without proper calibration, and maybe it was sponsored?
Best is often for most fun/pleasure of the senses...vision and sound. But for a professional TV video calibrator, best is for overall better picture uniformity and quality.

And! The video sources each person is mainly using are the ones that should be tested. So if it is cable/satellite TV, or Netflix/Vudu (streaming), or DVD (anamorphic 480p), or Blu-ray (2k, 3D, 4K), or Optik HD/UHD TV material from your Internet service provider, or other 2K material upscaled to 4K, or VHS/Beta tapes, or Laser Disc, or ... whatever the main video source(s) that's what count the most @ the end. The video processor(s) used by the TV display or by the video source(s), like the black TV boxes, DVD player, Blu-ray player (2K/4K...3D), ... are of the utmost importance.

And! What about image retention/burn-in? The guy in that above video didn't take the time to check for that.

You read everything there is to read about the best TV, then you swipe that credit card, unwrap the carton, install your new display, enjoy for few months, or more, then something else comes up...bigger, better, less expensive and more attractive. That's when it's best to stop reading after you just purchased your latest TV. :b

* No front projectors allowed in this thread; but if you must, for comparison's sake...sizes, prices, quality, value, etc., nobody is going to stop you. :b
Just remember, the accent is on flat panel TVs. I'm going to start another thread @ another time just on the latest best 4k/UHD front projectors relative to their price value...Epson, Sony, JVC, ...all that visual jazz.

By the way, I wonder why they didn't include any Vizio and Panasonic TVs in that above video. Most likely because they don't compete with the three top TV contenders...in picture quality?

I wouldn't consider any product from Samsung. The product quality and after sales services are bad.

Thanks.

I bought my 75" Z9D in 11/16 for $9K. I think they are going for $7K now. I don't care, since I love it. Along with the Oppo 203 I have really been enjoying both 4K UHD and regular BR the last year.

Love my 75” Sony. Blacks, while maybe not equal to OLED, are so close that it’s a non-issue to me. The brightness level is unmatched as far as I know, and HDR is awesome on this set. The Dolby Vision firmware update is due to arrive next month. The 3D on this set is also very good.

Bob, you can still love the OLED, won’t take that away from you. But this set makes for incredible theater viewing.

That is quite an amazing difference in price between the 75” and the 100” sets.
