Does MicroRendu destroy every competing transport? Is it better than Naim, Aurender, Baetis, latest CAPs, lamplizator komputer, antipodes, auralic .... etc?

What's better?

At what price point does it get beat?

Yeah, move along, Amir.
Just a technical note. If anyone does want to create their own streamer the recommendation of the raspberry pi as an ethernet USB streamer, is a very bad one. All raspberry pi have only one USB port as part of the SOC. They then stack a USB hub and Ethernet port, this creates a serious bottleneck if one wants to use a pi as a ethernet USB streamer. Used properly, i.e. Ethernet to I2s, the pi does make a decent low-price streamer. Not comparable to the uR but not bad either.

With the recent firmware update, the Auralic Aries is sounding quite nice. I think it sounds better than the microRendu, where before the latest update, I preferred the microRendu. However, I used microRendu with MPD, which is supposedly not the best way....
