Just being a curious fellow,I tried my old Verion P strapped SUT into the MM input of my Steelhead set at it's lowest gain setting and at 400 load.
I use a Kiseki Blue NS on a SME V arm and SME 10 table with Nordost Frey 2 tonearm cable.
The long interconnects are Furutech top RCA and wire to my Acoustat servo amps and model 4 speakers. The amps and front end are on two different 20 amp lines.I use Shunyata and DIY 3001 Neotech power cords with top Furutech connectors.

What the Verion brings is increased detail, more clarity (you can hear the added reverb to vocals),more bass slam, and an over-all more full bodied sound.

I always "liked" the Stellhead in either of it's MM or MC settings with my cartridge.

Just wondering if anyone with a Steelhead has ever tried using a SUT with it and what their experience was?

For me, this was a real step up(pun) in performance and seems to really let the Steelhead open up and sound less restricted.
