Hi why the 100ohm resistor? Also why 200w amp, what about a cheap 60w amp, or does the wattage help the burn in?

A 200W amplifier will have around 60V peaks, the 60W will reach around 30V. I suggested the resistors because Shunyata suggests the use of low wattage fans to carry burn-in of their power cables, something that suggests current should flow in the burn-in process. Remember we are dealing with sorcery!

BTW, I have also used a step-up transformer to increase the voltage, but it increases the complexity of the system.

Like Lloyd LL21 who I know is in the midst of installing his system in a new room, I'll be doing the same in the next couple of months
I've moved from a London apartment, a converted 27' X 22' X 13' loft, all concrete, glass, standing waves and never ending slap echo, to a more acoustically controlled bespoke roof loft space in my 1861 Victorian chapel, Kingspan acoustically treated ceiling and floor, no windows, symmetrical layout with gable eaves 18' X 38' X 10' max at midline apex descending down to 4' high at sidewalls
Other than reasonable acoustic isolation of floor and ceiling, I've gone all out on power, splitting audio space electrics from the rest of the chapel with a 16mm SWA cable to a dedicated consumer unit, wired into my Westwick 8kVA balanced transformer, and six Oyaide dedicated lines to Furutech US sockets. My last decision here is whether to run a dedicated copper ground rod to drop impedance towards zero Ohms
So my aim is to get a more acoustically sympathetic blank canvas with as quiet, unadulterated power as possible, and certainly I will achieve this
But I'll certainly be fretting as I unload my gear and set it all up, I had lived with my previous space for a good 18 years and did all my upgrading within it
Hopefully I can rely on more than just luck getting things right, but a WBF mass crossing of fingers wouldn't go amiss

Marc, do read the Shunyata Denali thread, where the advise is not to use more than 1 dedicated line (maximum two if you have Pass, Boulder like SS Class A biggies), otherwise you can get hum and ground loops. Especially with RCA single ended stuff. There is a big discussion on that thread at the moment.

I have a bunch of dedicated lines, but ended up using them as follows: Burmester Reference 948 (all source equipment), Gryphon Colosseum, Subwoofer, Oppo, Video Projector, Tripoint Troy (next outlet to the 948). So for audio, really only use 3 + Tripoint Troy. Still have 3 open.

I'm in the middle of running these lines so I'll see how things pan out
If problems arise, I'll revert to running fewer lines, with maybe an Entreq Powerus Challenger off one line covering must of the components, and one line to the duplex powering my NATs monos

I think if you get a hum, you know what to do, connect everything especially the NATs to one line with the sources

Sure Ked
None of this is irreversible
I can easily go to 2-3 lines, 1-2 for NATs monos and Zu sub amps, and 1 to a multiway like Entreq Challenger Powerus for tt motor, cdp, server, dac, linestage, feed to AV stack
