Thank you David for your years of valuable contributions to this forum. I learned a lot from your willingness to share your knowledge and experience about vintage audio, all things vinyl, and advocacy for natural sound. Your Beyond Turntable threads stand as a reference for all who are interested in what is possible.

Folks, please do not turn this thread into a commentary on a particular user. If it becomes that we will close the thread.

Thanks.

This is a sub forum created by and for a particular user and this is a specific thread with a title about this particular user. There are many threads about specific reviewers and other industry participants who are also WBF users.

Would you rather we redirect all comments toward Vintage Audio Systems? That could then be a new thread about that dealership which would be just like so many other such threads on the forum and not be in violation of any TOS to my knowledge.

Um, a thread about a USER. But no commentary on the USER. Yep, that's logical. What else would you suggest we talk about on the thread named after a USER?

There were 3 comments in the first 7 years of this thread. Now that ddk has decided to no longer post on WBF people have resurrected it.

The moderators are fine if people want to talk about his contributions but undoubtedly there will be negative comments (as we already have had). We aren't going to allow this to become a place for people fight.

This really wasn't "about a user" when Ked posted it.

Carry on.

Can a poster take away or has an intellectual right to have the forum remove everything he has posted if he decide to leave the forum? Lawfully, is the content created by a poster an intellectual property of the poster or it becomes the property of the forum? Do you know?

I think the forum owners get to keep ('own') all that is posted but the creator can repost or use his own contribution elsewhere. The owners control the delete and edit button.

WBF controls the DELETE and EDIT function.

I can't tell you what that means but it seems like WBF has the rights to continue to publish content. Only @Steve Williams and/or @Ron Resnick can answer you fully.
