Talk about a great movie to listen to with height channels. It won the Oscar for special effects in 1970 and has a great soundtrack to boot, extremely dynamic. This movie was filmed with a real aircraft carrier (the USS Yorktown) and hundreds of real airplanes mocked up as WW2 fighters. No CGI and their was no dolby atmos back then. I streamed it from Amazon Prime in dolby digital using my Asus Xonar U7 soundcard and then applied the Dolby Atmos upmixer and OMG. Planes taking off from air craft carriers, what seemed like a solid hour of Pearl Harbor battle recreation, bullets whizzing allround, bombs, just fantastic stuff.
