The 2018 Camry will not be at Dealers until the end of July now

And this reviewer says this new 2018 Camry will be at Dealers in Mid-July... "Very FUN To DRIVE NOW"! :D

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWKtO7jQtJg

0 to 60 for the V6 is in around 6.4 sec. and for the all new 4 Cylinder 0 to 60 is in around 7.5 sec.

Adding both port and direct injection, which should increase longevity for both engines.. with No Carbon Issues!

Who knows, we might get a 1,000,000 miles out of these engines! :b

Today Toyota started making the 2018 Camry at Georgetown, Ky!

I read that some dealers have already started receiving 4 cylinder Camrys from Japan production, so I went to my local Naperville IL dealer yesterday to check but nothing there yet. Word is that the V6 models will be coming a bit later with only 4 cylinder models at first. :( It seems like there's only two of us here interested in this anyway, and at 6'4" I'm not even sure whether I'll fit!

It's good that Toyota did not put a turbo engine in the 2018 Camry! You have a lot problems with turbo engines, some will tell you that was turbo engines made in the past but that's not true! Turbo engines made today still have.. a lot a problems!

100% correct. The huge increase of heat around the engine drastically shortens the life span of all components except for a few heavy metal components.

This reviewer says the new 2018 Camry is "So Quiet" inside the car...you have to spend a lot more money to get a "Quiet Ride" like this new Camry has now!:b

I can't wait to test DRIVE one to see how much better the "Ride Quality" is now too!:D The 2018 Camry is based off the.. "new 2018 Lexus LC AND LS 500"! so Ride Quality should be GREAT TOO!!:b :D

:D This reviewer has been in some "Very Quiet.. inside the cabin, cars" !:b

Local dealer thought they'd have their first two 2018 Camrys (4-cylinders from Japanese production) available for me to checkout today after getting their initial service, but turned out they were corporate cars which they're not allowed to show. One negative that several reviewers have commented on about the new Camry is that closing the door has a lightweight and tinny sound, not the solid reassuring 'k-thunk' that you hear on most premium cars. Otherwise the reviews have been pretty favorable. I'm also interested in more details on the all new 2018 Honda Accord which is being revealed with a detailed announcement on Friday July 14th but there will be no V6 available, just 1.5L or optional 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder engines. Some interesting new choices in the sedan market!

I believe the lightweight tinny sound that the reviewers are hearing is because Toyota is now using Aluminum in the doors and other places to reduce weight and get better MPG's. And.. Heat Treated Aluminum is much stronger than steel too!

Aluminum body vs Steel body.. "Crash Test"!:b

How it works : Heat Treating Aluminum:cool:

I might wait until Toyota uses Aluminum for whole body on the Camry.. maybe the next generation;)

When I buy my next Camry I will buy one made in Japan..Why? Because the ones made in Japan looks a little better and they have an TRD Model and Modellista package in the Camry made in Japan that they do not have in the Camry made in the U.S.A yet., that takes the Camry to the.. "Next Level"! :b :)

Click on "Show More" below this video for more info on this!

This is why I'm waiting until Toyota makes a full Aluminum Body Camry!
