After reading so many comments, I plan to have a try on Alpha Digital PC for my CAS .

just wondering where should I put my PC to so that to have the most significant change (improvement)

A: Network player (LPS) connecting to NAS?
B: USB DAC?

I suppose would be B? any thought?

Thanks!

Do you have a power conditioner in your system of some form? If you do, I'd suggest that the best/first power cord you buy goes from the wall to your power conditioner.
Everything downstream then gets the benefit of that first cord.....otherwise (if no conditioner) try it on your DAC and assuming you have no pre-amp, your amplifier and
see which makes the biggest difference.

I'm using Oyaide power distributor from the wall socket but I am not sure if it is a good conditioner. OK, I will try Alpha D PC on DAC first and see how it goes. Thx!

Not sure what model Oyaide you are referring to but assume it is the MTB-6, MTB-4 or something similar. You may still want to try it as everything connected will benefit but starting on the DAC is also a great move. What is downstream from the DAC....with a better idea of all that's in your system, you may get additional advice from everyone.
