AFAIK, Mac OS X Lion arrives in summer 2011.

BTW- The iOS 4.2 Software Update has an unpopular change, see:

I have not downloaded it yet for my iPad (just for my iPhone), but the lock screen key is a MUST and very usefull, I am sure Apple will bring this feature back to users anytime.

I updated my iPad but not the iPhone which I keep jail broken so that I can run MyWi, an app which tethers the iphone to the ipad and therefore no monthly data charges for the ipad

I have done the upgrade and yes the screen still has a button to lock it and prevent rotation.That button is now on the screen rather than a hard button on the top of the iPad, so not to worry as you can still lock the screen, just in a different way

It is definitely an upgrade worth doing as it allows multitasking and the creation of folders
