My studer A810 is showing an error code of F888. This seems to point to the MP card from what I have read.

What are my options here? Can I try to find a new card and can I just plug and play or is it more complicated than that? Any help would be appreciated.

Chance of getting a working MP card was slim because all A810 suffered the same problem: electrolyte leakage from Ni-Cd. Thoroughly clean MP card, especially under the IC sockets near affected area. Sometimes electrolyte might migrate to connector of basis board. Eliminate Ni-Cd as soon as possible. I used lithium rechargeable battery from abandoned cell phone. No problem. Someone reported a small modification of charging circuit was needed to avoid over charging of Li battery.
A810's healthy meter was the accumulated operation hours, which can be activated by 'Trans+Zero Locate'.

Good luck!
