Hello,

New guy here. But pretty experienced with some good equipment.

I have the first EAR 834T made. I've had it for a while. And I'm just now getting around to getting it set up. The tubes that are called for are eight EL34. Two ECC 83. And two ECC 85.

I have some tubes and want to know if I can use these. Some of these came with the 834T. But I got them mixed up with extras for my EAR 868.

Here is what I have:
Two 6H23n-EB
Two 6922EH
Two PCC 88

I know I need the El34s. But I believe the seller had used four of these in place of the ECC 83 and ECC 85.

I'm not wanting to damage equipment of course. I have a question of compatability.

Can anyone here offer some help? I would appreciate it very much.

Though my board name is keeponrockin. I'm usually listening to some smooth jazz.

My other EAR piece, the 868 has the phono section in it. It is said to be identical to the 834P I believe. And that piece is said to use three 12AX7.

I know of these tubes of course. But what of the three pair that I have?
