Hi - last night I received the visit of a friend who arrived with a brand new pair of WLM speakers (Lyra passive) to try on my Viva Solista amp.

We prepared ourselves a drink and made room for them in front of my Extremas, setup was not at the optimized point but pretty close based on our listening notes at the end of the session.

These speakers are not bad at all! ... Great sensitivity (98dB), dispersion, tonal rightness, frequency response, jump factor... They have a lot of many of what I consider "speaker virtues".

Huge soundstage, lifelike and easy to drive.

My Extremas sounded "old" in comparison, slow, muffed and egocentric...

Oohhh, I like this hobby! :)
