Storing data in DNA can not withstand these temps.

That was one of the most incredible advancements I saw the past week. Great thinking and design with the orientation of the dots to represent info along with position in 3D.

I wonder how long we have to wait to get an affordable commercial products with this technology.

Ray, I searched a bit around and couldn't find the answer to how long.
But the writing is done by a laser with five different angles, very precise and high tech...not the type to go outside of a lab for @ least ten years.
