I believe this has been out since firmware 8.1 or maybe before. It's a big deal because it is a fully configurable crossover with full control over high and low pass frequency, crossover slope, delay and level. Very few two channel products offer that functionality - I can think of only DEQX & Trinnov with audiophile credentials, others being miniDSP, pro-audio crossovers and your "do it inside the computer approach" with a multichannel DAC.

And this goes without saying, but the Devialet units themselves sound SUPERB. An amazing mix of transparency, resolution, bass control with just enough warmth to prevent listener fatigue. A really, really good match with the ATCs.
