So I am all booked up to go to CES this coming week. Thought I ask members if there are specific things they want me to see and report on. While I strive to go and visit all the rooms, on many I walk in and walk out if it doesn't interest me :). But if there is something you are interested in, or think it is something I should see, please post here.

Will do Ron. If you see any press releases related to them that you want me to investigate, please post them here. Can't tell you how many times I have returned from the show only to read the press release for a new product that was being demonstrated there!

I sent a tape machine to Sony to use with Nick's tape pre. They are supposed to be on the Convention floor doing a demo. Would love pics if you have time!

Really? In the main convention hall? That will be a first. And yes, will definitely seek out and take pictures.

Though of another one: a reliable wireless 4K streamer. I do not want to tear up my plaster walls and ceiling again.

By streamer you mean playing video from the cloud/services or room to room, i.e. HDMI wireless extenders?

Genesis Dragon.

I know I won't make it to Asia to hear one.

If Elac is doing anything new, I'd like to get your impressions. There's been rumors that they'll be debuting their next speaker line, but I haven't seen anything official.

..in the same vein I'd like your opinion on Epson's new LS10000 FP using laser as the light source

Any news from Panasonic on bringing their OLED to the US. Saw one at Harrod's the other day. Nicest OLED picture I have seen yet, even if it is curved. Hope they bring a flat on to the US. Oh, and the price. £8,000 or $12,000. Ouch.

For sure. THey are supposed to have their new Linux server running Roon, a new DAC/Pre (?) and as you say, a higher-end loudspeaker.

I am pretty sure I saw this at CES and it had a good picture. That said, it gets to 4K using a vobulator, so it doesn't have true 4K resolution. Hopefully they show an upgraded one at CES.

Can you do a bit of research for me and see if they will have the Neolith there and if so, where? But yes, I am interested in it specially given Ron's travels and preference for it.
