Goal tending....Ayton had both hands in the cylinder
On the replay, the ball was partly in the sphere of the rim. The is offensive goal tending. Wonder why the replay booth cannot see that.

At any rate, PG missed those 2 shots. It would have been better for Kennard or Reggie to get that ball instead of PG.

Clips were trailing 99% of the game, had PG made those 2 shots, it would be have been a big steal of a game. But he didn't. If he made 1 shot, the game would be in OT. Oh well.

There is no offensive goal tending on a side in. The player can receive the ball above the cylinder and that's what he did

That game could have been won and lost 4 times in the last 8 seconds of the game

PG had it won as they took their first lead with seconds left in the game. PG is fouled again and can clinch it but misses both free throws.
Ball comes down court and with 0.8 seconds left in the game the Suns take side in where the lob is thrown to Ayton who drops it in for a Suns 104-103 lead as there was still 0.7 seconds left and the Clipps just ran out of clock

Patrick Beverley played a great game. He got into the heads of the Suns players

Watching a game like this where the Clipps stole this game only to lose it as a result of PG missing both FT's tells me the Suns have destiny on their sides to win this and without CP3

And either Mark or Jeff was saying the review gave Monty a free timeout to design that final play to Ayton as the Suns had no timeout left.

He designed it well. On Sports Center Tim Legler pointed out Boogie should have been shaded towards the bucket as he defended the inbounds passer. Tim ran the replay in slomo and he was right. Clips thought Booker would get the pass.

I read a comment somewhere that a Suns-Hawks Finals will have a low rating that would make Silver unhappy. :D Headline becomes Booker vs Trey against Giannis vs PG13 or Kawhi if he ever comes back, :) Silver can market that as the 'Changing of the Guard'' Finals. :D

At any rate, just like the Utah series, the home team held serve the first 2 games. Clippers has been 0-2 in each rounds so far. :)

Silver better get to work to get a big market team in the Finals. All those bad calls in favor of the Suns have to stop. :) :)

Well, I learned something new, that you can touch the ball within the rim if it is an inbound play. So the inbounder can actually aim to shoot and let your center fly up and dunk it to make sure it goes in.

It really is the rule. On a side in pass there is NO offensive interference as the receiver can take the pass above the cylinder and dunk it
I believe you , Steve. And be that as it may, then a side court in-bounder can just aim for the basket from outside the court line, and tell his center to just grab the ball on the rim and dunk it. First time for me to see this kind of play, and the refs reviewed it and said it counts.

And a 7'4" man like Boban or Tacko Fall is just the right guy for that play. :)
