From Fred's list my favorite is Ryan Truesdell's Gil Evans Project, Lines of Color.

One that I'm surprised didn't make his list, is Cécile McLorin Salvant- For One To Love.

PS- If you have a Jazz lover on your Christmas list, give them a subscription to Jazziz.

Break Stuff is a bit eclectic and may take a listen or two to adjust / appreciate.
