have you ordered a titanium platter for your AF1 ? I'm curious to know why you will think it will be better than duralumin or SS ? To me, different platter materials are just a different sound flavor/tonal balance...not necessarily better. The SS is considerably heavier than the other platters and in my mind offers even better speed stability due to the added mass of SS.

Agreed, but the SS platter seems to offer better bass frequency response too.

Conductivity is different.

The degree of which they affect the magnetic field emmating from the cart will be different too.
