Thanks Tim. Ideally the the sofas should move but I don't see that happening . Do plan to change the upholstery though:(

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it if it sounds good. Looks like the mid and high drivers are above the sofas and the bass may actually be a bit better for them, who knows? I'm not a tube guy, sonically speaking, but god I love the look of them. They make me think of Edison's laboratory, 50s sci-fi movies. All good thoughts. And I really like the space. That elaborate system even blends well enough. Tell your wife I said that. :)

Beautiful and comfortable listening room! On the sofa, I don't think they are much of an issue since they are fabric. They absorb the high frequencies instead of reflecting them back into the loudspeaker. And the bass just goes past them.

Thank you for all the kind words and compliments. The iphone6s apple vision ( did I just coin a new phrase?) does a good job in hiding the grime and warts.
Will be delighted to host any forum member in my listening room. One of the abiding pleasures of this hobby is the friendships I have been fortunate to make across the globe. My audio tourism has taken me to friends' listening rooms in CT, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, MUMBAI, Kochi, Bangkok and hopefully more to come....

The main listening area is 23x14x10 which merges with an almost identical L shaped space that has the HT and a small alcove with a bar. Absolutely no room treatment save for some wall panels which add to the decor and I am sure provide some sonic benefit.

Many thanks. Have followed with interest the thread on idlers vs belt drives. There are sooo many variables in vinyl that I am a wee bit sceptical of attributing the "final picture" to an apriori design choice eg I am not sure I know many audiophiles who have a fully broken in tone arm cable. Just my 2 paise worth
Have a great weekend

I see them now Henry, tried on all my devices that day and nada, now shows on all.

I like the sweet spot chair is also in the projector sweet spot, well done Pradeep!

I am going through withdrawals with my 2 channel and my theater boxed up.
