They made it into something it ISN'T and they lost the entire feel of "swing."

The musical "feel" was as lost as when the Beatles music is recorded for easy listening by an orchestra.

The guitar playing was proficient, but the sense of the music was lost.


I'll take the studio or other versions of Dire Straits' recordings.

It's 3 guitar virtuoso's doing an unbelievable cover. It was not intended to be a replica of the original studio recording.

I disagree. I thought it was great. Tommy preforms hundreds of covers. They are all awesome, but unique. Not for everyone I guess.
