I for one intend to own a pair after I hear them and can feel they are above all headphones I own now. As amp hesadphones only I have no fear my dacs are way above what's inside and that is sad for 55000.00 but hey it's there choice .
Presently I own stax 009, hd800, sennheiser he60 , lcd3 and my actual favorite the HE6. And that's over the new HE1000 . If they have somewhere near the body of he6 while maintaining the speed of the stax there a sure bet .
Gary my new room is almost done and I have a new cross over coming same as Paul of ps audio . Did you order one for yours ?
