Sorry for the bad pix, I just bought this beastie. I had no idea how high end it was considered until I I did some research. It came from a local studio, Blue Wave, that is shutting down. Well used, and put away wet, but it's functional, and I'm going to restore it.
In the same lot, I got four MCI JH110 machines, with spare parts, head stacks, ranging from 2-4 channels, all 1/4" tape. I go pick them up on Tuesday.
If anyone is interested, this is the ad. The owner, Tom Lavin is a solid guy, although his stuff is priced at market value, so there's no massive deals to be had. He does have a couple of McIntosh 2300s for sale though. I did work for Tom, reconing speakers in the early 90s. Altec 604s if I remember correctly. For those not in the know, look him up on Wikipedia, I didn't realize how much he's done.
