hi all, I love all soul music, but my alltime favorite group is the temptin temptations-of course the classic group is the best-eddie- david-paul-Melvin-Otis with their many hits[the way you do the things you do-the girl's alright with me-i'll be in trouble-girl why you wanna make me blue-my girl-it's growing...you get the idea so many hits so many record breaking performances, of course later came the great[dennis Edwards]and the temps ushered in their psychedelic era[cloud nine-runaway child-ball of confusion]who here loves the temptations, let's rap.

Love The Temptations! Have a few albums and glad to say I saw them live in Montreal in the late 60's.

Sixty years and still going strong-[1961-2021]Otis Williams doesn't get the credit he deserves for keeping this legendary group together through all the changes not only in the group, but in music down through the years, if you want to hear soul at it's best put some Temps on the turntable and groove.....TEMPTATIONS FOREVER!
It is hard to mention the Temptations without the Supremes and Motown. In the glory almost all male singing groups imitated them. In Black neighborhoods it was common to hear them being imitated on a street corner. There influence has listed through to today.
