I was over at my buddy's house yesterday. He just returned from the California Audio show. He bought Creedence Clearwater Revival - Willy and the Poor Boys from Dan Schamlle with The Tape Project. We spent the afternoon listening. It was like hearing it for the first time, as there is just so much more detail than back in the day. when I would hear it on the radio.

Sounds like great time was had on that lovely system. Looking up the cost, it is $450. Was it that good? :D

It is when you're not paying? ;) All kidding aside, it is very good. Granted the material isn't up to, let's say, Brubeck's Waltz for Debbie. YMMV

Sorry to be pedantic, but Waltz for Debbie is Bill Evans, not Brubeck. I love it. But I love CCR too. :)
