I have just put up a pair of Ascendo System MS SE EW with external crossover speakers from germany and am using new cables from Germany called The Master Class what I want to ask my audiophile friends, over a period of listening to the setup it has been behaving funnily, some days it sounds very good and some days the vocal goes out of center to the left some days the music seems diffused and on some days there is a bloom how do I understand why is this phenomenon taking place Can any one throw some light on this matter is it the burn in process of the cable or what possible can it be.

Hello jasbirnandra. While diagnosing things on the internet can be somewhat difficult, it does sound to me like perhaps something within the system is wired out of phase.

Do you have at least 300 hours on the system? I have heard all sorts of strange phenomenon with new gear. The only other variable seems to be electrical power.
If it was a setup problem the sound would be constantly bad or constanty good but not all over the place as you describe....

No I don't think I have hit the 300 mark as yet,is it that while break in the setup behaves strangely.
As suggested by treitz I checked the polarity again but all seems correct red to red black to black.
The Interconnect being used is also new FYI

You have so much new gear in use. Break-in sucks (both the sonic stabilising of new hifi and Burglary :) as for the former there is no way past it! just give it a couple of hours and see what happens.

For everybody information the only products I have changed are the speakers and the spk wires and interconnect all the other equipments are the same.

Consider i was suffering for almost 4 weeks when i only chnaged to a new pair of MIT interconnects. So you definately qualify as "having so much new gear in use"
Regards

Ps: can you leave the System on when you go to work during the Day?
